The sliding bearing is in face contact, so a certain oil film should be kept between the contact surfaces. Therefore, the following problems should be paid attention to in the design:
1. Make the oil film enter the friction surface smoothly.
2. The oil shall enter the bearing from the non bearing surface area.
3. Do not make the oil groove of the whole ring open in the middle of the bearing.
4. If the oil tile is used, the oil groove shall be opened at the joint.
5. Make the oil ring supply fully reliable.
6. Do not block the oil filling hole.
7. Do not form oil stagnant area.
8. Prevent sharp edges and corners of cut-off oil film.
