Composite bearings are also called bushes, bushes or sleeve bearings. They are usually cylindrical and contain no moving parts. They are mainly used for sliding, rotating, swinging or reciprocating motion.
The composite bearing structure can be solid or separate butt joint (rolled bearing) for easy installation. Matching the bearing to the application is critical. The high load requires the bearing to increase the contact area and have a higher load carrying capacity. Compared with oil and grease lubricated bearings, solid lubricant bearings are designed to operate at higher temperatures. High temperature applications require special lubrication measures to minimize heat accumulation and friction.
Composite bearings are manufactured in different structures, and the choice of products depends on working conditions and performance requirements.
So, what are the precautions when using composite bearings?
1. Keep the bearing and its surrounding environment clean
Even if the invisible smile dust enters the bearing, it will increase bearing wear, vibration and noise.
2. Be careful when using equipment
Strong punching is not allowed, hammers are not allowed to directly impact the bearings, and pressure is not allowed to pass through the roller.
3. Use appropriate and accurate equipment and tools
Try to use special tools and try to avoid using fabrics and short fibers.
4. Avoid bearing corrosion.
When holding the bearing directly with your hands, please wash off the sweat from your hands and apply high-quality mineral oil before suspending the operation. Pay special attention to rust prevention in rainy season and summer.
