Graphite copper sleeve is a kind of self-lubricating bearing embedded with graphite. It is a kind of product with self-lubricating performance, which is developed on the friction surface of copper sleeve as metal matrix, and embedded graphite or molybdenum disulfide as solid lubricant.
The working principle of graphite copper sleeve bearing is to use its own oil absorption and discharge process to achieve the self-lubricating principle. The general solid lubricant accounts for 20-30% of the friction surface area. The lubrication principle of graphite copper sleeve self-lubricating bearing is that in the sliding friction process of shaft and bearing, a part of graphite particles transfer to the friction surface of shaft and bearing, forming a relatively stable solid lubrication diaphragm to prevent direct adhesion and wear between shaft and bearing.
The graphite copper sleeve integrates the respective performance advantages of metal alloy and non-metallic anti-wear material, and complements each other. It not only has the high bearing capacity of metal, but also obtains the lubrication performance of anti-wear material. So it is especially suitable for no oil, less oil, high temperature, high load or water environment. At present, graphite copper sleeve has been widely used in construction machinery, metallurgical machinery, mining machinery, locomotive support, steel rolling equipment, ship machinery, mold equipment, textile machinery, gas turbine and other occasions with low speed and heavy load, high speed and light load.
Although there are so many advantages, but the graphite copper sleeve is not perfect. Limited by the current manufacturing process, the cost of graphite copper sleeve is relatively high. According to senior people's reaction, due to the harsh working environment in China and the neglect of maintenance of construction vehicles, the service life of graphite copper sleeve is greatly affected. In the actual use of the scene, it does not play its wear-resistant and durable advantages, and sometimes even more delicate than the ordinary pin sleeve.
