Oil free bearings will cause rust and other phenomena due to different environments. If the bearing is rusty, it will affect the normal operation of self-lubricating bearing and cause unnecessary loss. So, how to prevent oil-free bearing rust?
In order to prevent the oil-free bearing from rusting, the surface should be pretreated. The proper cleaning method must be selected according to the nature of the rustproof surface and the conditions at that time. Generally, there are solvent cleaning method, chemical treatment cleaning method and mechanical cleaning method. After cleaning, it can be dried with filtered dry compressed air, or dried with 120 ~ 170 ℃ dryer, or wiped with clean gauze.
In addition, antirust oil can also be applied. Some small items are immersed in antirust grease to make the self-lubricating bearing surface adhere to a layer of antirust grease. The oil film thickness can be achieved by controlling the temperature or viscosity of anti rust grease. For outdoor construction equipment or products with special shape that are not suitable for soaking or spraying, attention should be paid not only to avoid accumulation, but also to prevent coating leakage.
Some large-scale antirust materials can not be oiled by immersion method. Generally, filtered compressed air with a pressure of about 0.7MPa is used for spraying in the air clean place. Spray method is suitable for solvent dilution antirust oil or thin layer antirust oil, but must adopt perfect self-lubricating bearing fire protection and labor protection measures. It is necessary to prevent the rust of oil-free bearings.
