Oil free lubrication bearing is a kind of sliding bearing, which is suitable for places where oil can not be added or is difficult to be added. It can be used without or less maintenance, and it also avoids the risk caused by insufficient oil supply.
Next, what are the specific types of oil-free lubricated bearings?
From the product structure, oil-free lubricated bearings are divided into solid inlaid bearings, compound bearings, oil-bearing, new single lubricating material:
1. Solid inlaid bearing
It is common to embed solid lubricating materials such as graphite (black lead), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and molybdenum disulfide into alloy materials such as high-strength brass, tin bronze, aluminum bronze, cast iron or GCr15 by inlaying process. It breaks through the limitation of oil film lubrication. In the process of use, solid lubrication and shaft friction are made by friction heat, forming excellent conditions of oil and powder lubrication, which not only protect the shaft from wear, but also make the solid lubrication characteristics permanent. The hardness, wear resistance and bearing capacity of high strength brass are twice as high as those of ordinary copper sleeve.
2. Compound bearing
The common composite bearing is composed of two layers of steel plate and copper powder layer (bimetal), or three layers of steel plate, copper powder layer and self-lubricating material (PTFE, peek, POM) + filler material. The self-lubricating material is bonded to the steel plate by high temperature sintering process, which not only ensures the friction and wear performance of the product working face, but also ensures the structural stability and bearing capacity of the bearing.
3. Oil bearing
Oil bearing is made of metal materials. When making, oil is added to the bearing, and the lubricating oil is sealed in the bearing. When using, the effect of "self lubrication" is realized without adding oil lubrication. Because the bearing contains oil, it has good lubricity and avoids the maintenance work of adding oil.
4. New single lubricating material bearing
The common new single lubricating material bearings are resin, ceramic, tungsten carbide bearings, and new materials are constantly developed. However, such bearings may have the characteristics of high cost and narrow application area, which can not be widely used to replace rolling bearings.
